Poor Experience
What do you like best about this product?
VoipSwitch is one of the easiest to use softswitches on the market. It runs on Windows, so almost everyone can get familiar with the main manager easily, without using command line even once, but this is true only for simplest of tasks.
What could be improved about this product?
Everything. It’s a buggy, crashing software without proper support. Developers don’t know what they’re doing and process tickets for years, if you look at web modules it’s like designers don’t even know how css works. This is not a production software at all, FreeSwitch beats it with ease.
What was your main concern about buying this software?
When we were buying we were concerned about VoIP software that runs on Windows on Linux. And we were right – reboot required every 49 days because of “Windows Internal Timer” (Support quote), otherwise calls are disconnected after 1 second, is hilarious.
What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you seen?
We are deploying PBX for small and medium companies and process a wholesale traffic. We saw no benefits, only lost some of our customers.
